Adding forms to pages

Once published, forms can be added to any page that has a module enabled for it. From the page editor, you can connect active forms and, depending on the client’s needs, override certain texts or content to adapt them to the context of that specific page. These overrides do not modify the original form.

  1. Editor: We go to the page editor and locate the module that allows a form to be added.

  2. Actions: We open the available actions of the Component Container component.

    • If there is already a default form, the Replace option will appear.

    • If there is nothing by default and the module only accepts forms, the selection modal opens directly.

    • If the module accepts several types of components, a side panel opens so you can choose the component type, and when you select “form”, the corresponding modal will open.

  3. Modal: Regardless of the previous option, the modal opens for you to select the form you want to add or replace.

    • Only active (published) forms are shown.

    • Each form includes a thumbnail updated after every edit.

    • It has filters and a search box.

    • If the page is multilingual, only forms that have versions in all the page’s languages will be shown.

  4. Selected: We choose the desired form. The modal closes and the selected form appears in the corresponding module.

When we add a form to a page, it is possible to customize certain aspects of the form exclusively for that page. This allows you to adapt texts or settings without affecting other pages that also use that form. The instance is the one that decides which fields can be overridden (for example, texts such as titles or messages), but the structural fields of the form cannot be edited from the page.

If you edit the form from its editor, those changes are applied on all the pages where it is connected. However, the specific overrides made on a page are kept and respected over those global edits.
