Adding images to a page

To add an image to a page, you need to select a module from your design system that lets you add images.

1. Select the component where you want to add an image.
2. Modal: A modal will open showing the images you have uploaded to your site.
3. Select the image you’re interested in and add it to the component.

You can upload an image from the modal itself without leaving the page.

3. Upload image: In the modal’s side panel, you’ll find the option to upload an image. You can do this by dragging the image into the modal’s side panel directly from your document explorer, or by selecting it from your browser’s file explorer.
4. Uploading: Once the image is selected, the upload process begins.
5. Data: Once uploaded, the image’s details are shown in the side panel. We can fill in any of the image’s fields we want: Title, Alt text, Description, and assign Tags that will help us in a later search.
6. Save: We save the data and the image is added to our site’s Gallery.

We can delete an image by opening the image details and selecting the Delete option that appears at the bottom of the right-hand panel.
